Where and what time will I get picked up?

We have tours that start from Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, and Costa Teguise. We can also pick up in Arrecife, Playa Honda, and Yaiza. Pickup points are in hotels or the nextdoor resort. Pickup starts at 16:30 in every resort. Tell us where you’re staying, and we will send you the exact collection time with GPS indication if your hotel doesn’t have pickup.

How far are the pickup points?

Meeting Points tend to be within 5 to 10 minutes of walking distance if not across the road.

Do we pick up at private BnBs?

Not exactly, however, we do pick up at your nearest bus stop or hotel. Send us your exact location, and we will provide you with GPS indications to your nearest walking distance bus stop.

In which language is the excursion?

We have tours in English, Spanish, German, and French, and guides for different nationalities. Please tick your language and check the available days.

Where/when and how can I pay the balance?

Customers shall pay the balance upon arrival at our office in Puerto Calero.

How long are we on the coach?

The journey to Puerto Calero is approximately 1520 minutes, depending on where you’re staying.

Can I go straight to the Marina?

Yes, you can go straight to the Marina with a booking and ticket and 1 hour before the scheduled dive to get health and safety simulation.

How long is the dive?

The dive is approximately 35 50 minutes long.

How deep does the submarine go?

The submarine dives up to 30 meters deep.

Are there any toilets on board?

No, there are no toilets on board. We recommend customers to go to the toilet before boarding.

Are children allowed on this trip?

Yes, children starting from 2 years old are allowed to join us.

Are babies under 2 years old allowed on the submarine?

Due to safety reasons, we cannot take passengers under the age of two years under any circumstances. However, we provide a bus transfer for spectators.

Is there a commentator on board?

Yes, we have a commentator that explains everything in your language during the dive.

What sort of clothes do I need?

Customers may come as they please. The temperature aboard the submarine is room temperature.

Can someone with reduced mobility do this tour?

No, not for this trip. Customers have to climb down ladders to board the submarine.

Am I allowed to bring food?

Yes, you can bring food and drinks if you desire. Note: food is not allowed on board.

How long is the excursion?

The tour lasts approximately 45 to 50 minutes, and around 3 hours from the time of pickup to dropoff time.

Are we guaranteed to see anything?

Put simply, yes! The area is home to a wide range of fish of all shapes and sizes. Each day is unique, and we cannot guarantee what types we will see, but you will always see a lot!

I get ear infections, is it recommended for me to go on the submarine?

The inside of the submarine is maintained at normal atmospheric conditions, and so it feels no different from being on the surface. Therefore, even at the bottom of the ocean, your ears will NOT be affected.

Can pregnant women go on the submarine?

Yes, it’s perfectly safe for pregnant women to go on our submarine for the same reason as above.

I get claustrophobic and scared to go underwater, what is the experience like?

The inside of the submarine is spacious and light, with a central aisle. Similar to a small airliner, except the seats all face outwards, with large viewing windows in front. Most people who feel a little nervous before diving are fine when onboard, but the final decision has to be yours.

Being on a submarine is very different from being on a boat. There is no rocking motion as the submarine sits below the waves, and so people who get seasick on a boat will not do so on our submarine.

Are photos included in the price, and can I bring my camera?

Yes, you can bring your camera or phone to take a memorable photo on the seabed. Photos taken by our photography staff are available to purchase in digital form or printed for as little as 8€.
