Sunset Dolphin & Whale Watching Cruise – Lanzarote
There’s nothing quite like watching the Atlantic turn gold as dolphins leap alongside your boat. Our Sunset Dolphin & Whale Watching Cruise takes you out onto Lanzarote’s open waters at the most magical time of day, when the light softens and marine life comes alive along the coastline.
You’ll cruise aboard the striking yellow Biosfera Express, purpose-built for wildlife spotting, with wide open decks that give every passenger an unobstructed view. Our experienced crew keeps a close eye on the water throughout the crossing, and with a bit of luck you’ll spot Bottlenose Dolphins riding the bow waves or, further out, the occasional Blue Whale gliding through the depths.
Timing is everything on this trip. As the sun begins to dip towards the horizon, the volcanic cliffs of Lanzarote glow amber and rose, creating a backdrop that’s every bit as memorable as the wildlife itself. It’s the kind of golden-hour scene that photographers dream about and families never forget.
Comfort is built into every part of the experience. The vessel carries full safety equipment and a crew trained in first aid, so you can relax and focus on the horizon rather than worry about the details. A drink and snack are included on board, keeping everyone refreshed as the cruise unfolds.
Along the way, we’ll make a couple of short stops near the coastline so you can take in Lanzarote’s marine environment up close and hear a little more about the ecosystem that supports such a rich variety of species here.
Because this sunset departure is one of our most requested trips, we’d always recommend booking ahead rather than leaving it to chance. It suits pretty much everyone — couples after a romantic evening on the water, families wanting something a bit different, or anyone hoping to bring home that perfect sunset-and-dolphins photo.
Step aboard, watch the sky change colour, and let Lanzarote’s wildlife do the rest. This isn’t just a boat trip — it’s the kind of evening you’ll still be talking about long after you’ve left the island.
