Jameos del Agua is a cave that is part of a lava tunnel. It is home to a salt lake that holds rare species of Albino Crabs and an underground Concert Hall transformed by César Manrique. Cueva de los Verdes is a lava tube formation caused by an eruption of a volcano. It stretches for over 6 km, but only 1 km is open to the public. In which language is the excursion?
We have tours in English, Spanish, German, and French, and guides for different nationalities. Please tick your language and check the available days.
Where / when and how can i pay the balance?
Customers have 2 options , you can either pay in full at the time of booking or you can pay at collection time, to our guides, payment can be done using credit card or cash.
Do we pick up at private BnB’s?
Not exactly, however we pick at your nearest bus stop or hotel, send us your exact location and we will provide you GPS indications to your nearest walking distance bus stop.
How long will I be in the bus.
Lanzarote is a tiny island. The most time you will be on the bus is only when going from North to the south, which takes approximately 50 minutes.
How far are the pick up points?
Meeting Points tend to be within 5 to 10 minutes of walking distance if not across the road.

Where and what time will I get picked up?
We have tours that start from Playa Blanca, Puerto del
Carmen, and Costa Teguise. We can also pick up in Arrecife, Playa Honda, and Yaiza. Pick-up points are in hotels or the
next-door resort. Pick-up starts at 08:30 in every resort. Tell us where you’re staying, and we will send you the exact
collection time with GPS indications if your hotel doesn’t have pick-up.
How long is the excursion?
This is a half-day tour that takes around 5 hours from the time of pick-up
to the time of drop-off, bringing you back around 17:00 o’clock.
Do I have free time?
Yes, at every stop, we give you at least 15 minutes to enjoy and explore the
attractions without any rush.
What sort of clothes do I need?
You can dress as you please, but we recommend comfortable clothing
and trainers. Hats and sunglasses are recommended for the summer season, and a jumper is recommended for winter time as
it can be windy in the morning.
Can someone with reduced mobility do this tour?
No, this tour goes to the Green cave of Cueva de los
Verdes, which involves a 40-minute walk inside the lava tube. You can consider our Grand Tour or our César Manrique
Tour for options suitable for reduced mobility.
Do we stop for food, and is it included in the price?
No, this is a half-day tour, and we don’t have
time to stop for food. You can consider our Lanzarote Highlights Tour for an option that includes food.
Am I allowed to bring food?
Yes, of course! You can bring some snacks and drinks, especially if you
have children.
Are there any toilets?
Yes, there are toilets at every stop we make.
How big and long are the caves?
Cueva de los Verdes is a wide connection of lava tunnels. It takes a
40-minute hike to complete, and it’s not claustrophobic. The ceiling is 10 meters wide. You can check the photos
section to get a better idea.
Can I swim at the lagoon in Jameos del Agua?
No, swimming is strictly forbidden. The natural lake is home to rare albino crabs, and the blue lagoon at the
King’s Garden is there for artistic purposes and display.
Does this tour go to the volcanoes?
No, this tour concentrates on the northern side of Lanzarote, and
the fire mountains of Timanfaya National Park are located on the southern coast. You can consider our Grand Tour or the
Lanzarote Highlights for an experience that includes the volcanoes.
Are there too many steps to go up to the viewpoint?
No, there are no more than 10 steps to go up. Our
drivers drop off at the most approximate parking, which is 2 minutes away.
